India and Clark are 16 years old, and have been raising money to send kids from child-headed households to school in Malawi through an organization called “Turn The Tide” …since they were 10 years old! Through spaghetti dinners, bake sales, craft markets and other events, to date they have raised at least $40.000. The funds raised have provided money for food, provisions and education for 37 kids and the 12 widows who now oversee their care in an impoverished rural village in the province of Nasanje. In August, 2019, India and Clark went to Malawi for the first time. Their work and experiences there have changed lives – both those of the Malawi children and their own.
