Topic: “Marijuana As Medication-Losing Stigma and Embracing the Future”

Nick Cake acquired his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Waterloo and his law degree from the University of Windsor. As a former Crown Prosecutor, turned criminal defense lawyer, Nick brings a unique perspective to the law and policies surrounding it. Nick has worked with Mr. Millar since 2015 and is currently the head of the Criminal Law department. Nick is an advocate for accessible cannabis and is often imparting cannabis related policy in Court.

Mr. Philip Millar is a pioneer in Canada for Medical Cannabis. He is at the forefront of a leading industry by being the CEO for Medical Marijuana Consulting. A former combat officer with the Department of National Defence, Philip became a lawyer graduating from Western University, joining the Crown Attorney’s Office with the Ministry of the Attorney General. He has extensive knowledge of policies and laws regarding marijuana both domestically and internationally.
