Topic: “It’s All in the Bounce: Overcoming Adversity”

After becoming an amputee at the age of two because of a farm accident, Darda Sales went on to become a four-time Paralympian, capturing a gold and silver medal along the way. Through it all, while there have been highs and lows, the lesson that Darda has taken away is that everyone falls sometime; not everyone bounces back. It is not the fall that defines us, it is how we bounce back that makes people sit up and take notice.
